Built on the foundation of biotechnology and biopharmaceutical science, our formulations are designed with pharmaceutical precision and guided by a deep respect for the complexity of the skin. History

Dr. Tara Skincare began in 2017 in Europe, with a simple wish: to create products that respect the skin’s natural balance and avoid harsh, unnecessary chemicals. The first formulations were initiated that same year, and by 2018, the process of refining and perfecting them was well underway.

The path from idea to finished product was anything but short. From 2017 through 2022, every stage was shaped by testing, feedback, and careful adjustments. Each prototype brought excitement among people who tried them. 

Because of the product’s specificity in 2025, the packaging underwent further changes to meet the highest standards of estetics and performance. 

Today, what began as a vision has become a fully realized skincare line: products that are thoughtfully crafted, function as intended, and remain true to the original mission of creating skincare that is safe, effective, and aligned with the skin’s natural needs.

Today, Dr. Tara Skincare offers a growing line of natural apothecary products. At the heart of the collection are:

• The Natural Cream – available in two scents, Harmony Rose and Fresh Mentha. This cream is thoughtfully formulated to support the skin’s natural balance and provide nourishing care.

• The Nail Balm – created to care for nails and cuticles, smooths the appearance of ridges, helping them look and feel healthier, more even and polished overall well-groomed.

Dr. Tara Skin Care was created by dr. Tamara Krstic, a biotechnology scientist with PhD in biopharmaceutical sciences, and Master of Pharmacy.

Her orientation towards pharmaceutical field began early, thus before completing her degree at the Faculty of Pharmacy, she attended even high school as a pharmaceutical technician.

In addition to her research, Dr. Krstic taught for nine years at the Faculty of Pharmacy, covering subjects such as Immunology, Immunochemistry, Microbiology, Biology with human genetics, Physical chemistry and Integrative medicine. She is also the author of two books used in faculties across Serbia, Brazil, and Turkey, in subjects related to biotechnology. Throughout her career, she has continuously expanded her expertise through international conferences and ongoing professional education, bringing a strong scientific foundation to every product she creates.

During her PhD, dr. Krstic discovered natural formulations with remarkable efficacy and became deeply aware of the harsh chemicals commonly found in skincare products. Motivated to provide skincare that is both nourishing and biocompatible, she founded Dr. Tara Skincare, dedicated to creating products that respect the skin’s natural balance.
